4 Exercises To Get Date Ready Arms
Taylor Ryan
Have you ever noticed a difference in your muscle tone before and after a workout? The way that your body looks more toned and tightened after that last exercise?
No, its not a figment of your imagination. During strength training exercises, blood rushes into the muscles, the muscle fibers tighten up, and as a result your muscles appear more toned.
Give them an hour or so and they'll relax down, but for that time, you have to admit you look pretty good!
Taking that into account, my husband and his friends developed their "date push-up" sequence. When he was in college, the boys would perform this sequence before going out on dates so that they looked stronger and felt hotter.
Doing date push-ups isn't just for the boys though! We want to look good in our strapless or sleeveless outfits too, make all the boys notice how hard we workout! So that is why I am revealing Dan and I's "Date Push-up" program.
Yes, even now we do these before getting dressed for dates or special occasions.
There are 4 push-up variations involved in this small circuit:
- Regular Push-ups
- 2 O'Clock Push-ups
- 9 O'Clock Push-ups
- Triangle Push-ups
Look at the image below to see hand and body placement.
How To: Complete 10 reps of each exercise and that's it! If you're feeling really into it then repeat it one more time.
Otherwise, pump out these push-ups for more toned shoulders, biceps, triceps and pec muscles!
